Taryn Sherman

I’m currently a student at The University Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I intend to major in Marketing as well as to minor in graphic design. I’ve found a passion for being a leader towards my fellow piers whithin my life. From a young age, I’ve always had an eye for creativity and design. I would love to tie the two components together to furthermore find a job that suits my interest. Within my life, I've been able to experience and learn what it takes to be a leader within my community. Through my involvement in Gymnastics being a team captain was my first attributions towards what it takes to be a team leader. Through constant pep talks with my teammates, and one on one conversations with myself before each and every routine, I learned that within the sport of Gymnastics comes more than just the routine but the family that’s cheering you on the side. I’m passionate about taking a team of innovating seeking scholars to be involved in creating something that in turn leads to a better and advanced way of thinking. I don't know what the future has in store for my current passion. Each day I learn and develop more awareness of what goes on. 5 years down the road my current path may change but within the change, I hope to have learned and be a more self-compassionate individual with a mind of her own to become a leader to change the way we humans look at certain aspects of life.
