About

My freshmen year of college I went to Indiana University but discovered it was not the right school for me to study at, so I transferred to Illinois State University and made it my home for the next few years. I currently just finished my sophomore year and ended the year with a 3.79 GPA and could not have been happier. I am studying finance because I have a love for numbers and handling money. I hope this major can lead me to a career I fall in love with after I finish my schooling.

Goals and interests

Career goal

As of right now I am very interested in becoming an investment banker. The reason behind this is because I had discussed with my uncle, who is an investment banker himself, and he told me everything that he does form a day to day basis. After hearing everything he told me it got me a little excited to become one myself. So, I plan on meeting with employers during my junior year to try and get an internship the summer after junior year which hopefully will lead to a full time job after college.

Graduate school interests

Currently I have not thought about grad school. However, after I finish my four years of undergraduate school I will see what skill sets I need for the job I want and figure out if attending grad school is a key for my success in the near future.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy Hunting, fishing, and spending time with my family whenever I have free time. I also love going to our family farm, when I am there I feel free because of how close to nature I can get.
