About

I am a graduate student of Psychology looking for a position as a research assistant or a behavioral analyst. I am interested in organizations and groups who help underserved communities access proper care, and value mental health as much as physical health. I recently had the opportunity to volunteer for a year at Mt. Sinai St. Luke's Psychiatry Department working with the Routine Outcome Monitoring Program (ROMP). I was able to engage one-on-one with the outpatient community who are visually impaired or Spanish speakers to assist them while filling out the program's OQ-45 questionnaire. Also, I was in charge of data collection, analysis, and record keeping for the program. I have assisted clinicians with progress reports, attended didactics alongside psychology trainees and resident psychiatrists, and participated in intake interviews. While completing my B.A., I had the honor to work for United States Secret Service for 5 years while holding a TS security clearance. I have completed proper training in counterfeit money identification, IT Security Awareness, Workplace Diversity Awareness, and Privacy Awareness and Confidentiality. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, painting, volunteering in animal shelters, volunteering at clinics, and watching nature documentaries.
