About

As an Engineering and Architecture student, I seek to further my knowledge and understanding of the professional construction practice through formal academic instruction and the formal practice of these noble professions.

To me Engineering & Architecture, are disciplines at the forefront of improving people's living conditions. As such I seek to surround myself with as great a diverse background of constrcution trades and building cultures as I may. I believe diversity can only makes us whole, and in these disciplines (engineering & architecture) we need as much tested/tried experience as we can gather - particularly if we are to sustain a lasting legacy. After all, it is through buildings and structures how vestiges of cultures and history are transmitted. When we think of important events in history, or our favorite memory, we think of the place in which such event happened, and how such space impacted our forethoughts. Therefore, I am convinced that Architecture & Engineering will continue to endure long after we are gone. It is here, in the space generated between Architecture & Engineering, that I choose to make my contribution to society/community.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I am interested in participating in projects with need of Structural Engineering, while executing a high level of Sustainable Architecture. As well, forensic engineering/architecture is something I look forward to adding as part of my resume. One can never undermine the importance of anticipating the risks of future building & structural developments, as much as those in current existence/need of analysis -due to natural disaster or human made errors & oversights. Forensic engineering & Architecture is a field, from which we can gather crucial data about building performance in its present and future condition - which in time allows to develop better design and buidling approaches to ensure a lasting legacy.
