About
I'm an experienced professional with over 13 years of experience in the Energy Industry in a wide range of environments and geographies. I consider myself a problem solver and a strategic thinker. When I see something that can be improved I feel the need to figure out how to fix it and improve it. My professional life has been enriched by constantly working with multicultural teams, which I think is key factor in finding innovative solutions to problems. While during the bulk of my career I have acquired a specific expertise in Wireline Operations and Technologies, I have also gained broader experience in Operations Management, Project Management, Maintenance Management, Software Development Management and Change Management. I currently work as part of Corporate Strategy PMO team which is in charge of developing the Corporate Strategy that will drive the company’s performance to reach the goals and ambitions that have been set for the future.
Prior to this position, I worked for Schlumberger Wireline in a variety of roles for more than 13 years, starting as a Field Engineer working in multiple countries such as Canada, Venezuela, Congo and Norway, and subsequently as a Field Service Manager in Nairobi, Kenya overseeing Wireline Remote Operations in multiple countries in East Africa; then as Deepwater Field Service Manager in Ciudad del Carmen, Mexico, followed by an assignment as Project Development Lead as part of the Schlumberger Transformation Team, and finally as the Manager for the Wireline Centralized Maintenance Facility in Oklahoma City, OK serving all of the North America Land market.
I hold a BsC in Mechanical Engineering from Simon Bolivar University in Caracas, Venezuela and an Executive MBA (Global Leadership Executive MBA - GLEMBA) from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas, where I graduated at the top of my class.
