Holly Koester

Having a classroom filled with children has always been my dream. To think that my dreams could happen in less than a year is truly the best feeling in the world. I want to become an inspiring, positive, and impactful teacher as my teachers were to me. I would be honored to teach at a local elementary school in the primary grade levels. Family has always been the closest and most special thing to me and I would like to stay nearby with them. In addition to my teaching career, I would like to continue my basketball coaching career if possible. I am currently the head junior high girls' basketball coach at a local private school & a volunteer high school girls' basketball coach at a local high school. Both of these opportunities have allowed me to grow into the hard working leader I am today.

Receiving my Master's Degree has always been on my bucket list. As a teacher, I want to continue my skills and one way of doing that is by learning myself. There are multiple Master Degree programs that I am currently looking into. For example, the three that I am considering at this time are: Master of Science in Education in Curriculum and Instruction, Master of Science in Education in Educational Leadership, and Master of Science in Education in Special Education. All three of these programs will aid me in becoming the best teacher that I possibly can become for all of my future students. All students deserve an opportunity to succeed inside & outside of the classroom, and by giving them the best version of myself will allow me to help them in achieving any goal that they have set for themselves.
