About
Currently I am in the Associate's of Science fro nursing program at St. Johns River State College. I have always been really interested in health and medicine and am really taking to the coursework like a duck in water. I plan on working in rural areas as an RN and continuing my education in the BSN (Bachelor's of Science in Nursing) program with SJR State. I'm not sure how I want to specialize yet so I plan to get my feet wet working in various areas of nursing. Eventually I would like to gain my DNP (Doctorate of Nursing Practice).

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My first goal is becoming a Registered Nurse (RN) with my Associate's in Science. I would like to try out various areas of nursing to see where I work best and can contribute the most. My overall goal is to become a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP). The role of the nurse is evolving and Nurse Practitioners are able to practice as Primary Care Providers (PCP). This role makes health care delivery more accessible and affordable.
