Goals and interests

Career goal

Psychology professor at the university level and conducting research at a doctorate level. I enjoy being in a classroom environment and teaching students why humans behave and think the way do. Most importantly, I want my students to be able to dig deep into how psychology demonstrates who we are as human beings so they can better understand themselves and others.

Graduate school interests

Earning a Master’s degree in Arts of psychology and obtaining hands-on experience as a graduate assistant while conducting research on the brain, cognition, and behavior at Pepperdine University. The training and experience offered at Pepperdine University align directly with my career goals. I am most excited to partake in understanding how the mind shapes human behavior and thoughts, and the factors that trigger behavior and affect mental health.

Outside the classroom

Reading, writing, and swimming.
