Angel Dove Barboza

I am a native american individual attending NAU to hopefully pursue a nursing degree and I am proud to be part of a community such as this as well as being part of a native American organization at NAU. When I graduate I will be doing it through the Native American Nursing program at NAU which will require me to visit reservations and care for other native individuals. I have been through hard times with my health and I had very nice nurses and therapists helping through my struggles at the time so I only aspire to be as supportive to others as they were to me. I also love the idea of giving back to the native American community as it is very tight knit and I always feel at home around them and have received so much support from them as a whole.
