About

I am a hardworking individual who is driven to complete work. I am not like most high school students who are procrastinators. I will get done what I promise to get done. I have worked my whole high school career trying to achieve perfection and my grades show it. I have plans to become a drafter in architecture after obtaining my Computer Drafting Technology degree. This is a job that I would take great satisfaction and pride in. This would be a job that I would wake up and enjoy going to. I enjoyed the few classes that my high school offers for this type of work. I enjoy creating visually what I see in my mind and drafting does exactly that. In school, I had advanced courses in math since 8th grade. I've taken math courses beyond what I would need for my degree. I am in the top percent in my class in grades. I have been involved in track and team sports such as football and basketball. Along with playing basketball, I changed it up and ended up doing the stats for two years and taught this year's crew how to do it. This is a task that requires hand-eye coordination, focus, memory, and observant eyes all of which are important for schoolwork and drafting. I have also been involved in our student government STUCCO. I have helped create and run the Fall Homecoming games, organized a food drive, created ideas to gather money for an angel tree, and organized fundraisers for a fellow student needing money for health complications. In my younger years, I was also in our local 4-H chapter and held the Treasurer position. I was also on numerous parlaw teams working on parliamentary procedure. I had projects in woodworking, rocketry, and photography. I have gained leadership and communication skills along with teamwork experience all of which can be carried over to my future career and my continued learning experience.
