Goals and interests

Career goal

My main goal is to become a Nutritionist/Dietician and work to provide education, counseling, resources to people who live in predominantly urban areas, which lack immediate access to fresh foods. The focus for me is on the younger generation, which is why I want to work with public institutions including urban schools and hospitals to help instill the right nutritional habits from the start.

Graduate school interests

Striving for Masters/PhD in Nutrition

Outside the classroom

I have a passion for cooking and baking all different kinds of dishes, but especially those that are ethnically inspired. I also love exercising, particularly jogging and cardio-driven workouts. Being outdoors and doing nature-based activities like bike-riding and hiking also intrigues me.
