About

I’m a passionate community advocate, student leader, and future social worker committed to transforming the systems that have long failed marginalized communities. I currently serve as the Co-Membership Director of the Black Young Democrats of the Inland Empire, work as a Campus Connection Coach through a social work apprenticeship program, and volunteer with the California Black Women’s Health Project.

Growing up in San Bernardino, I’ve witnessed firsthand the impact of systemic injustice, and it’s fueled my mission to advocate for change. I’ve pushed for policy reforms around housing justice, racial equity in education, and accountability in public health. One of my proudest achievements is helping establish wellness centers across SBCUSD, sparked by my work on the Student Leadership Advisory Council where I focused on youth addiction.

Academically, I was valedictorian of my high school and entered college with a 3.5 GPA thanks to dual enrollment. Education has always been a tool of empowerment for me, and I plan to continue that journey by pursuing a dual degree in social work and law. My long-term goal is to create a behavioral program that restores and supports youth impacted by addiction, trauma, and systemic neglect. Through advocacy, service, and purpose-driven leadership, I’m working to build a future where every young person has the chance to thrive.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended career path is rooted in policy reform and direct community impact. I aspire to get deeply involved in creating and shaping policies that address the corruption, systemic loopholes, and injustices that continue to harm marginalized communities. My goal is to write and advocate for legislation that protects and uplifts rather than punishes and excludes.

Eventually, I plan to establish my own nonprofit organization that serves as a holistic support system for underserved populations. This nonprofit will include multiple programs—starting with one for behaviorally challenged youth and mothers working to reunify with their children. I want to build a support system that not only helps families heal but also gives them the tools and advocacy needed for lasting stability.

Another part of my nonprofit will focus on juvenile justice—creating a program that offers quality legal representation and restorative alternatives for young people. The goal is to give them a true second chance by exposing them to new career paths, mentorship, and personal growth opportunities. I also plan to launch an addiction recovery and prevention program for high school students, helping youth battle their struggles before they become system-involved.

Ultimately, I want my nonprofit to be a one-stop organization that tackles a wide range of social issues—addiction, housing, juvenile justice, family reunification, and education access—creating real, generational change for marginalized communities.
