About
My name is Alana Watson. I am from Franklin, TN and attending Western Kentucky University as an incoming freshman this coming August 2014. I am going to WKU to study broadcasting journalism due to the fact that they have one of the top programs in the nation. It has been a dream of mine to be involved in news broadcasting since I was young, and I have been determined ever since to make that a dream a reality. Even though broadcasting is my main focus, I enjoy coach cheer and dance in my spare time, along with being an athletic trainer and studying health science.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
After I graduate from Western Kentucky University, I plan to work for WSMV Channel 4 News in Nashville. My junior year of high school I had the opportunity to job shadow one of Channel 4's most dedicated reporters, Mr. Josh Devine. After experiencing the news production wool first hand, I knew that that was the the career for me.
