About

I’m the Assistant City Administrator for the City of Brunswick, Maryland and a Doctor of Public Administration student at the University of Baltimore. I’m a U.S. Army veteran and a Maryland‑licensed water/wastewater superintendent with 12+ years in operations and program management across environmental management, water quality, and municipal administration.

In my current role, I lead cross‑department initiatives—policy implementation, strategic planning, and performance alignment—that translate evidence into measurable improvements for residents. In my doctoral work, I study how leadership and technological infrastructure enable successful adoption of new processes in local government. My goal is to build adaptive, data‑informed organizations where governance, process design, and modern infrastructure work together to deliver reliable, equitable services.

Goals and interests

Career goal

Near term, I plan to continue advancing as a municipal executive—driving service reliability, transparent performance management, and technology‑enabled operations (Assistant/Deputy City Administrator → City Administrator/Chief Administrative Officer).

Long term, I aim to serve as a City/County Administrator or a Chief Innovation/Performance Officer, stewarding cross‑department modernization, evidence‑based budgeting, and scalable process improvements that residents can see and feel.

Graduate school interests

Grad School Interests
• I’m focused on improving local government operations through disciplined leadership and robust technological infrastructure.

• I’m interested in technology adoption and change management in municipalities (interoperability, data governance, cybersecurity).

• I care about performance management and resident‑facing metrics—using dashboards and cycle‑time reduction to make service quality visible.

• I’m studying how public works and environmental policy integrate with citywide service delivery.

• I’m exploring adaptive/digital government and equity‑centered implementation that turns research into sustained practice.

Outside the classroom

I make cat videos of my crew—four Maine Coon cats, one Ragdoll, and one regular orange cat—and I manage a cross‑platform presence (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok). I enjoy hiking, camping, and the outdoors, and I’m passionate about technology—especially solving technical problems with new and emerging tools.
