Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended job path is to grow into a leadership role where I can guide teams, strengthen workplace culture, and help organizations operate with clarity, purpose, and integrity. With my degree in Organizational Leadership, I aim to move into positions such as team lead, operations supervisor, or management roles that allow me to support people, improve processes, and create environments where others can thrive.

My experiences, from working demanding night shifts at Amazon to serving as a caregiver — have shaped the kind of leader I want to become. I’ve learned the value of patience, communication, and consistency, and I plan to carry those qualities into a career focused on developing people and strengthening organizational effectiveness. Ultimately, I want to build a professional path where I can make a meaningful impact through service‑oriented leadership and continuous growth.

Outside the classroom

Marcus enjoys a blend of creative, active, and family-centered hobbies that reflect his values and personality. He finds joy in building LEGO sets, appreciating the focus, patience, and imagination that each project requires. As an avid video gamer, he enjoys exploring immersive worlds and strategic challenges that help him unwind after long work shifts. Marcus also values spending time outdoors, whether it’s taking walks, enjoying nature, or simply getting fresh air to reset and stay balanced. Above all, he cherishes quality time with family, seeing it as a source of connection, motivation, and purpose in his everyday life.
