About

Hello, my name is Amanda (Raven) Nestrud. I am studying psychology. My end goal is to bridge northern Minnesota communities to provide quality care for neurodivergent individuals whether in or out patient. I also want to make group homes a thing in northern MN, so that people aren’t driving to Baxter, St. Cloud, Minneapolis, St. Paul and further to get the care they need, making family more accessible for the individual in care. Which in turn could produce better outcomes for the individual in care, possibly even independent living!

Goals and interests

Career goal

Having my own hospital that offers in and outpatient care that connects group homes in northern Minnesota making care readily available for neurodivergent individuals who also struggle with depression, anxiety, and other mental health problems.

Outside the classroom

I love hiking, hunting, fishing, crochet, reading books, painting/drawing, learning new languages, going for drives, being with family, enjoying life.
