About
I am a Pre-Medical Nutritional Sciences student at Oklahoma State University with a 4.00 GPA whose interests lie at the intersection of nutrition, biomedical research, preventive medicine, dermatology, and Native American health. My undergraduate experience includes research in metabolism and chronic disease, clinical experience in dermatology, leadership in pre-health and academic organizations, and service to underserved communities. I hope to become a physician who combines patient care, research, and culturally informed prevention to improve health outcomes, particularly in Native and rural communities.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I plan to become a dermatologist with an interest in Mohs micrographic surgery, while remaining involved in clinical and translational research. I hope to practice in Oklahoma and improve access to high-quality care for Native and rural communities through patient care, outreach, prevention, and collaboration with tribal healthcare systems. My broader goal is to integrate medicine with research and nutrition-based approaches to chronic disease prevention.
- Graduate school interests
I plan to attend medical school and am interested in programs with strong opportunities in dermatology, biomedical research, nutrition and metabolism, and service to Native, rural, and underserved populations. I am especially interested in training that will allow me to connect clinical medicine with translational research, prevention, and culturally responsive care while preparing for a career in dermatology and Mohs surgery.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy percussion and music composition, including performing on drum set and on the Snareline with the OSU Cowboy Marching Band, and I am currently learning piano. I also enjoy distance running with the OSU Running Club, strength training at the gym, swimming, teaching percussion, Bible study, traveling, personal finance, and reading about nutrition, fitness, and health research.
