About
After achieving my high school diploma at the young age of 16, I then went on to travel to Greece, attain my TEFL certificate, and teach English as a second language to Greek natives. I have tutored children in math, additionally, and been a nanny for many years up until I began college. Currently, I am working for Capital One, a major financial institution, and am individually funding my post-secondary education. I am working towards a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical sciences, with a hopeful Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree to follow, potentially in the specialty of pediatrics. I have volunteered in many areas and currently hold a 3.85 GPA entering into my Sophmore year of college. I particularily enjoy the lab portions of my science classes, and look forward to continuing to expand my research into the effects of vitamin deficiencies in relation to mental illnesses, as well as the identification and effective treatment of pancreatic cancer stem cells.
