Alondra Guerrero: Berkmar High School Achiever Scholarship Recipient
My name is Alondra Guerrero and I grew up in Dominican Republic, higuey. I was born in Atlanta, Georgia on June 27th, 2005 to two very loving parents, I’m the baby of the house with an older sister that’s 24. Growing up I was a really strong kid that would always want to think outside the box, for everything that I’ve been through I had to learn how to be mature at a very young age which has really benefited me now… I grew up with parents that grew up with nothing so they didn’t get the chance to finish school neither go to college and till this day they still wished they had that chance to study and thanks to my mother that sacrificed leaving her home country to help her daughters get a better future wish I appreciate a lot!! Thanks to her I’m bilingual and I get to live and also study in so many better places than what they had, I want to make her proud of me and for her to also noticed that this is a thank you for everything she has done for me and my sister! Im doing all this for my family whom I love with all my heart!<3
