Top Three Books for the Month of June

Jun 30,2016

So for the month of June I indulged in some great summer reads but out of my reads I had three that were my favorite.  Every summer I try to catch up on reading because it’s something that I enjoy and love to do but for those who are not avid readers like me; aim for say three books a month. Reading three books a month is something really easy and different to do during the summer but also allowing you to broaden your reading horizon.

So the first book is End of Watch by Stephen King, for those that don’t know Stephen King is known predominantly known for his horror books which are often turned into movies although he does write other genres of books. End of Watch is a part of a three book Trilogy and basically the whole book is based around a massacre that has killed eight people so far with numerous people being injured and the investigation into who’s behind these killings. While I’m not a fan of Stephen King I did enjoy the book because of the suspense and the plot behind, so it’s defiantly a five star in my book.

The second book we have is 15th Affair by James Patterson now if you’re a huge fan of The Woman’s Murder Club then this is the next book in the series.  I was so excited when this book was finally released as its one of my favorite series. In the book detective Lindsay Boxer whose is my favorite character is beginning to settle into motherhood and her new marriage. But as she is assigned a new case involving the brutal murder of woman with links to the CIA Lindsay discover several secrets following this case is a plane crash and then  the disappearance of her husband Joe. This book is about Lindsey turning to her friends at the Woman’s Murder Club to help her solve the case and learn what connection between brutal murder of the woman and her husband. It’s a great read I recommend for everyone even if you’re not a fan of the Women’s Murder Club after reading this book you’ll want to read the others.

Our last read is called The House of Secret’s by Brad Meitzer and Todd Goldberg this book is one I am currently reading but it’s about a woman whose father is the host of a conspiracy talk show and after a tragic car accident that has killed her dad and injured her brother she wakes up in a hospital with no memories just her name. While I am still reading this book it’s an amazing read and has a plot so similar that could happen in real life. Now I know its summer vacation many of you won’t pay attention to this article but if you’re going on vacation check out any of these three books there great reads for traveling or just lounging on the beach.
