hello,

I was born in Dominican Republic, so i came to the United States at the age of five. At first, life was hard only knowing a foreign language, but i finally learned, for now i know two languages fluently, which are Spanish and English. In times of crisis i would sit with my best friend, which was a computer. I would self repair my system unit, so i was self taught. I soon realized my passion was computer science, and further after i soon realized my passion was machine learning.

being timid was my personality in high school. This was because i had no experience speaking to people, so i forced myself to have conversations with people until I became very well at it. It was a very hard process, since i had no mentor, and i was used to my old best friend, but Now, i have conversations, formal and causal, with people i meet for the first time because i know what to say. Yes, many times i froze and looked dumb, but it was all worth it.

I have had a few leadership roles: Yearup and ping pong.  In my high school, Hialeah Gardens High School, I was the captain of the ping pong team, or table tennis team. I had to schedule meetings and events and fundraise. Yearup is a program at my school, which is Miami Dade College North Campus, that hones a students skills to speak up and dress formally. At Yearup, students have to come well dressed everyday and learn how to be an efficient leader, and respect everyone for what he or she believes in. It is very ironic how I met this program after I lost my timidity. This is Yearup's class of 16 ( I am the first row to the left ).

many say where do you see yourself in five years? well, I see myself in a garage filled with tools and knowledge to build a machine. Now I say this, what will you do in five years to update society?
