Hi there!
I’m Erica, a single mom of three and currently an accelerated BSN student at Chamberlain University. I also work as a CNA at OHSU Hospital, where I’ve had the opportunity to float across multiple units including cardiac, neurology, trauma, emergency surgery, organ transplant, and the emergency department. These experiences have pushed me to stay calm, think quickly, and adapt in situations that can change fast. I’m especially interested in going into critical care or the emergency department, where strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and the ability to act under pressure are essential. I’m also passionate about mental health and making sure patients feel seen and supported, even in high-acuity settings. Through both school and work, I’ve been building my confidence, communication skills, and ability to manage complex patient situations. My goal is to become a nurse who provides strong, reliable care in critical moments while continuing to advocate for patients and make a meaningful impact.
