About (Summary)
I am currently a Linguistics student at the University of Oregon, and I want to teach English to younger child or to program language software, such as speech recognition or artificial intelligence for a computer such as Microsoft or Google. Since, I was little I have always had a keen sense of curiosity and liked to explore the world around me; meeting new people with different backgrounds and stories to tell. From there I gained an interest in linguistics to create a bridge for me to cross into the lives of other people, bringing my friends along. In that way all my experiences have lead me to want to connect with other people and to grow with them towards their dreams as I head towards mine.

President's Volunteer Award
I earned this award for my time spent volunteering at my Girl Scott's day camp in high school
30th percentile in Moody's Math Challenge
Mine team placed in the top 500 teams in the country out of thousands of times by completing a math model in 14 straight hours.
State Finalist
I was a state finalist in the 2015 National America Miss for the state of Oregon
Grad School Interests
At the moment I am interested in a graduate program for computer science or English.
Intended Job Path
I intend to go to Spain this coming October to teach English, then I plan on joining FEMA to try to help make a difference for communities using my language skills to be a bridge to help people. Then, I want to join the FBI to be a cryptologic linguist or I want to go into the technology field to program language recognition systems so that everyone from any language background can have access to the same technologies.

Hobbies
In my free time I enjoy song writing on my ukulele, singing, and creating music videos. I also, have a lot of fun painting, drawing and writing. My favorite sports to do are dancing, ice skating and yoga. Lastly, I like to debug and create programs for figuring out what puzzles my roommate and I should do or what games to play.
