About (Summary)

My name is Patricia Craig-Hood I was born in Jamaica, in the rural underserved community in the west countryside of St. James Jamaica W.I, where I grew up we had no indoor toilet, no running water and electricity. Having to choose other basic needs like clothing or the cost of transportation over fresh fruits and vegetables was not a foreign concept. My mother migrated to the United Stated when my sisters and I was ages,7,9, and 11 years old. My commitment.to obtain education and change the world. has been a struggle with my illness and the deaths of my baby sister who was a PHD holder from Georgia States University has been my reinforcement not to give up on my education. The Food for Thoughts Charity Corp was established as a 501(c)(3) organization in 2009, by a group of four family members ages 13 to 49 who wanted to create a source of outreach that is missing from our community and provide a place with the support and services that cater to the specific needs of underserved areas in West Palm Beach. I am assistant Supervisor at West Palm Beach Supervisor of Election Supervisor of election utilizes a robust communication strategy. The strategy of communication that they are using includes cell phone with locators. After leaving the home in the morning, and heading to the polling site, volunteers must turn on their locators. When they arrive at the location, they must login on their phones. Notifying corporate that they arrived at their polling location. Volunteers get involved with the whole community such as firefighters, police officers, and Palm Beach sheriff's that are waiting to collect the ballots and documents after the polls are closed.
