My name is Robert Rincon and Fall 2022, I've been admitted to University of Nevada Reno where I'm currently studying Journalism with an broadcast emphasis in relation to my associate's degrees. I was admitted to the university with Western Undergraduate Exchange scholarship for an transfer GPA of 3.0 or higher.
I've graduated community college May 18, 2022, completing my Associate of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism along with a 3.28 GPA meaning I've graduated with Honors in the commencement book.
Next, I took a class during Summer 2022 and completed California State University GE-Breadth Certificate. I was then awarded my Associate of Arts degree for Transfer in Journalism along with Associate of Science for Transfer in Film, Television, and Electronic Media.
I'm a part of the Honors College at University of Nevada- Reno.

Intended Job Path
My life goal is to become an TV News Reporter or work in a brand newsroom.
By having my associate degrees, I've now completed the minimum requirement for most internships and part-time jobs in my career field that requires a minimum of 2-years experience in broadcasting or Journalism.

Hobbies
During my free time, I like to play Playstation 5 video games like NBA 2K. I like to read news stories on social media and watch live streams from TV News stations on their Facebook page.
I enjoy going to the news scenes myself to communicate with other reporters and record my own footage that I later upload to my news page. Attending current events makes me feel closer to my dream in TV news reporting as I continue to build my Journalism portfolio bigger and more professional.
I can always look back on how far I've come once I've graduated with all degrees and education needed to land an job or internship in my career field of Broadcast Journalism.
