Graduate Achiever Scholarship

Sep 25,2016

I am a 3rd year osteopathic medical student from Western University of Health Sciences undergoing clerkship in Southern California.  I will complete my medical degree in one year and will then go into residency, hopefully in emergency medicine.  I love the field of medicine, but even more than that I love my dog, Erebus.  We go on hikes, car rides, and runs together.  This scholarship will allow me to further acquire the array of study tools that are required to succeed in this and next year.  Third year medical students have national standardized testing every 3 months, and must also study for the second round of board exams at the end of the academic year.  There are a wide range of resources available to us to help us prepare, but none of them are cheap, and so I am thankful to honorsociety.org for selecting me as one of the finalist recipients for this scholarship.
