Autobiography

I grew up in a psychologically abusive household as a child until my teen years. When my abuser passed away unexpectedly, I was also put into another abusive environment. With daily struggles, I tried hard to escape so my mother and I could live alone after years and years of abuse.

Now, after escaping over a decade of abuse, I am in school to prove my self-worth that was shattered at a young age. Belonging to something like the Honor Society and making it onto the Dean's List has ultimately proven I can do more than what was hammered into me to believe. I am proud of myself for these achievements.

Now that it is my mother and me in our home, I plan to make it even bigger and better in my achievements.
