Livia - Graduate Student Achiever Scholarship Recipient
I am a health enthusiast and a wellness activist. I am currently working on my master’s degree in
Nutrition at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), with hopes of becoming a registered dietitian. The financial assistance you will provide will be
of great help to me in paying my educational expenses, and it will allow me to concentrate more of my
time for studying and working on my internships. Thanks to you, I am one step closer to my goal.
By awarding me the Graduate Student Achiever scholarship, you will decrease my financial burden
which will allow me to focus more on the most important aspect of school, learning. Your generosity will
inspire me to help others even more and continue to give back to the community.

Livia is a graduate student at the University of Illinois, Chicago. She is working towards her MS in Nutrition, and has a 4.0 GPA in her studies. She is a health enthusiast and wellness advocate. Livia also writes and contributes articles to Sports Dietetics USA, and the Chicago Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Livia also volunteers and developed a nutrition education program to help elementary school students in under-served areas of Chicago. Great work and congratulations Livia!
