Ashley Childers: My Undergraduate Achiever Scholarship!

My name is Ashley Childers. I am a junior at Eastern Michigan University, and I am majoring in apparel, textiles, and merchandising. Along with my love for fashion I also have a love for animals. I do a donation drive every year around the holidays for the Michigan Humane Society. I love being able to help animals and give something back to the community. To combine my two major interests I plan to own my own boutique selling the clothing and accessories I design and donate part of my profits to the humane society. This scholarship will be a major help for me for this coming semester. I will be using it to help pay for my school tuition and fees. I have to take two extra classes than I normally do this year so this scholarship will help with the extra tuition.
