Terra Crowl: My Member Spotlight Scholarship!

Dec 10,2015

I am honored to receive this Member Spotlight Scholarship. I am going into my fifth year as an intensive psychology major and double minor in sociology and dance. I recently spent my 4th year studying abroad in Madrid, Spain and now I am looking forward to finishing up my general education and minor requirements at UC Santa Cruz. I am really interested in social action and systemic social change starting with bottom up individual collaboration. This year I am going to do a field study with the Santa Cruz prison population and doing research related to homeless women and children. I hope to go back to Spain to teach english in public schools and after that I plan on applying for a dual PHD program in policy and psychology. The money that I receive is directly helping me with my household expenses, academic visits to potential graduate schools, graduate application fees, and traveling expenses for when I return to Spain. Thank you so much for this honor.
