About

I’m currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in psychology at Southern New Hampshire University, with a focus on mental health, counseling, and trauma. I work as an Assistant Residential Coordinator for a mental health organization, where I help oversee staff and support individuals working toward gaining the skills and independence needed to successfully transition back into the community. My passion lies in mental health, trauma-informed care, and advocating for individuals who may not always have a voice. I’m working toward continuing my education at the master’s level and building a career focused on mental health advocacy, supporting vulnerable populations, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My career goal is to advance into a leadership or advocacy role within the mental health field, focusing on trauma-informed services, crisis intervention, and supporting individuals with complex mental health needs. I hope to help improve access to mental health resources, strengthen community-based programs, and advocate for individuals and families who face barriers to receiving the care and support they deserve.

Graduate school interests

I’m interested in pursuing a master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field, with a focus on trauma, crisis intervention, and advocacy. I hope to expand my knowledge of mental health treatment and community-based services while developing the skills needed to support vulnerable populations and take on leadership roles within the field.

Outside the classroom

Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring new places, and finding opportunities to give back to my community. I’m passionate about volunteering, advocating for mental health awareness, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally. My goal is to create meaningful experiences with my children while maintaining a balance between my education, career, and personal life.
