I'm a PhD student in Teacher Education in the Department of Teaching and Learning at UNLV. I'm the executive editor of an online literary journal for readers and writers of historical fiction, and my writing has appeared in various journals both online and in print.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
After I finish my degree, I plan to teach and research at the university level. My goal is to train future teachers to be the best educators they can be.
- Graduate school interests
researching how to best train new teachers, researching teacher identity, teacher reflection, and arts-based education research.
- Outside the classroom
When I'm not teaching, writing, or doing my schoolwork (which isn't often), I enjoy reading and finding great vegetarian and vegan recipes since I love to cook.
