Flavors, Focus, & Future: Chloe Anderson’s Culinary Journey
Hello, my name is Chloe! Im 18 years old and my primary passion in life is culinary arts. There is something in my heart and soul that craves something about starting from scratch, which why pastas and pizzas are my favorite dishes to make and serve. That's why I also believe that starting from scratch when cooking is more rewarding. When it comes to eating im drawn to the bold and the vibrant flavors of Italian foods. On the sweeter side I do love baking, my signature dish of desserts will surely be a cheesecake.
Beyond the kitchen my foundation is grounded in a subtle home with my mom and brother. Of course aside from our 2 dogs and 3 cats that keep us on our toes. My mother works 12 hour shifts working as a CNA while my brother is 21 with cerebral palsy on the left side of his body. This is where I come in helping as much as I can in the kitchen and help cleaning. From working so much in the kitchen, from helping grandma, to helping mom, to doing it all on my own, I had a love deep in my heart for being in the kitchen and serving smiles.
I have a passion but, there's of course a critical need of effort to get where I want myself. As I'm a senior in high school I will be getting my Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) licenses in the summer in 2027. I will work as a CNA until I can afford to go to the college I want without there being a whole lot of debt to recover from. I believe working as a CNA will allow me to gain professional experience, caring for others, and to support myself while preparing for an exciting academic journey.
My dream college is Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in New York. This is where I dream of refining my culinary techniques and business acumen. My ultimate career objective is to become an Executive Chef, and establish my own line of successful restaurants. Every step I take is with ambition and determination of my future. Thank you for your time to read this!
